Patient Information
New Patients (What to Expect)
Welcome to Springside Physio! We are glad you chose us. We are located across from the L&A Hospital near the Hearing Life centre. Our clinic and restroom is fully wheelchair accessible.
Prior to your first visit, we will email you the necessary new client forms to complete securely online at your convenience. The forms will cover basic information like your contact information, insurance details and then some basic general health screening questions. All information will be collected in a private manner and stored in a secure electronic system.
For your convenience, we can send all receipts and future appointment reminders to your email.
New patient appointments always begin with your physiotherapist taking a detailed history of any relevant injuries and concerns. After this, a physical examination of the injury will be completed. A treatment plan will be explained to you and any questions you may have will be answered. Always feel free to ask questions – we want to ensure you know as much as possible regarding your injury or condition. Typically, if time permits, there will be a short introductory treatment as well to get your started on the road to recovery. The follow-up visits will be focused on treatment and some re-evaluation to ensure you’re getting better.
Do you bill directly to my insurance?
Yes we can! Depending on your private benefit insurance company and plan, we can bill directly on your behalf. The amount covered depends on your specific plan and may cover 50%, 80% or 100% of the treatment costs.
Are there any hidden costs?
Nope! We do not charge extra for shockwave, taping or acupuncture. If you need an exercise band, we will include that as well!
